1. Am I shopping on a secure site?
Absolutely. How ever, no one can guarantee...in this day and age...that you will not be the victim of identity theft. Millions of on-line purchases are made every week...with little if any problems. However...if you would feel more comfortable dealing DIRECTLY with us...and NOT providing your credit card info via this website...PLEASE feel free to call us...and we can do the transaction over the telephone. We want you to feel comfortable with your buying experience.
2. What is the jewelry made of?
Jewelry Island Style & More uses a variety of materials and beads in our creations including glass, hermitite, seashells, pearls, bone, quartz, stone, etc.
3. How do I know what size to order?
Listed below are the normal sizes for the various items. In the description for each item the exact size/length will be specified. We try to offer at least a couple of sizes on each item. Remember most of the designs done by Jewelry Island Style & More are one or two of a kind. If you see something you like and it's not available in your size e-mail or give us a call and we'll do everything we can get make the design in your size.
Sizes will vary slightly based on the size of the beads, the design (so it is balanced) and the finishing.Adult Sizes:
Bracelets Sizing - Normal 7"
Anklets - Normal 9"
Choker Sizing - Normal 16"
Necklace Sizing - Normal 18"
If you would like something smaller of larger here's how you determine the size that you will need:
With a flexible measuring tape, snugly measure the area with a flexible measuring tape (for bracelet, anklet, choker ). For a necklace measure how you would like it to fall around your neck. Add 1" and this will give you an approximate size to order.
Please measure carefully as there is a $5.00 per strand resizing fee!!
4. How do I clean my jewelry?
All jewelry ordered from Jewelry Island Style & More should be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water only.
5. What is your return policy?
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase from Jewelry Island Style & More, you may return it for a refund minus the cost of shipping within 30 days. Just place the jewelry along with the sales receipt in a padded envelope and return it to Jewelry Island Style & More, 1130 Camp St. Platteville, WI 53181.
When the item is received by us, we will issue you the refund. It's that easy. We want happy and repeat customers.
6. What if my jewelry breaks?
If your jewelry breaks within the first 60 days we will repair it for free and reship. If after 60 days your jewelry should break, there is a $5.00 fee per strand for repairs. Place all of the pieces along with the original sales receipt in a padded envelope and mail it with payment (if applicable) to Jewelry Island Style & More, 1130 Camp St. Platteville, WI 53181.
7. When will I receive my order?
Most orders will ship within 72 hours. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail when your order is shipped. Usually it takes 7 to 10 business days to be sent through the United States Post Office unless you select Priority mail. Please allow extra time if ordering during certain holidays. Add $4.00 for Ground Shipping and $16.00 for 2-Day shipping.
